The process “examines” the factors of each document (e.g. type of the trade account, and of the item, vat rate ect) and assigns in the declaration entry the appropriate tax code.

There is no differentiation in the way of the documents registration.

However, it is pointed out that it is possible to identify the tax code in the document, if necessary. When the document includes the tax code as the principal information, this code is given priority and is respected by the calculation process.

In the form “Update VAT data” in document’s header, the user may choose the desirable tax code in the relevant field.

The Tax Code refers to the entire document. However, in some cases (primarily in cases of expenses) it is necessary to allow the assignment of a different Tax Code per Document Line. In these cases, the different Tax Code needs to be defined only on the lines that need to be differentiated.

The new view (scroller) Document checklist that participate in VAT Statement (''menu: Closing period processes\VAT Tasks'') allows us to check the raw data and confirm their integrity and validity, before proceeding with the entry generation process.

This view presents the original documents accounted in the VAT Declaration, based on the applied configuration. Besides the values, the view also includes information per transaction that justifies the way each transaction is accounted under specific taxation cells. Specifically, the following info is included: Transaction category, Trade Account VAT regime, Tax Code and so forth. This way, the accuracy and validity of each record can be checked before the process execution, allowing thus early interventions and effectively supporting error prevention.

Note that after upgrading to this version, no further action is required to correct the existing registrations, and hereafter, to correctly register new fixed asset accounting transfer.

Changes in detail:
