These parameters will be used as criteria for lots selection. This feature is provided through the available document actions to add to the UI form via form designer tool.

In the parameters dialog box, new parameters can be added or existing can be removed. The available parameters can be found in the following area ''ESFilters\ESFIDocumentTrade\ ESFIOnDemandGenerateAnalysisLinesParams.xml'' .

In this view, the declared parameters must have exactly the same code with the parameters for lot selection. Otherwise, the selected values in the dialog box will not be considered.

Especially, a standardized customization method is given in case that the criterion of '''lot expiration and production date''' in relation to document issue or delivery date should be applied to the view. In the parameters dialog box for lot selection, the user can add '''a round number of days.''' This number will be added to the document issue or delivery date in order to be compared to the lot expiration or production date. In the automatic lot selection view (declared in item movement profile), the following parameters with these names must be declared:

# ExpirationDaysFromRegistration Expiration days after issue date
# ProductionDaysFromRegistration Production days before issue date
# ExpirationDaysFromDelivery Expiration days after delivery date
# ProductionDaysFromDelivery Production days before delivery date

Although, the parameters type has been declared as integer, the type of the parameters above must be declared as date. In the view, the user has to define with which lot field the comparison will be made i.e. expiration date:

In the following example the lots expiration date that will be “expended” must have expiration date greater that X days from document issue date and Y days from the document delivery date, where X and Y are the values declared in the “Lots specification” dialog box '''''Expiration days after issue date''''' and '''''Expiration days after delivery date.'''''

In the example, the new view '''''Automatic Lot Selection using parameters (FIFO)''''' is used. This view has been developed to take advantage of the new lot selection feature using parameters.

In the context of this new feature, the ability to define if the lot analysis lines will be grouped and inserted into the same line item or each one separately. If this parameter is activated, then analysis lines will be inserted without the lot. As a result, the user has to fill out the lots or to delete the analysis lines.

Henceforth, the dimension chart (F12) is allowed to run in document lines with items that monitor dimensions of “dimension chart” type, '''giving the item line the values of the remaining dimensions'''.

For instance, if an item has three item dimensions, i.e. color, size, dimension 1 and the user wish to have the same value in all lines that will be inserted grouped by an item line, while the values of the other dimensions are different, then the field '''Dimension 1''' can be shown in the line item and be declared and then select F12 to display the two-dimensional analysis chart for color-size combinations insertion.

To activate this feature you have to declare the attribute '''FORCE_2D_MATRIX_SYNC''' in the document.
