  • The first level of the report presents a summary of sales and purchases as regards the standard and special net and VAT values.
  • The second level presents the abovementioned values per Trade Account.

Fixed Assets

Fixed Asset position monitoring per Warehouse

The ‘Fiscal year closing’ process now supports the distinct, quantitative inventory for fixed assets. The available options are:

  • Fixed Assets - Opening Entries (Quantities) - This option allows the quantitative inventory of fixed asset acquisitions per quantity and warehouse. Therefore, (a) the report “Details by position” (filtered and grouped by Warehouse) can be utilized and (b) quantitative only, intra-warehouse documents (e.g. ATM) can be used during the fiscal year. If this option is selected, it is required to also activate the next one that refers to values (only; not the ‘Quantities and Values’ one), similarly to Opening Inventory.
  • Fixed Assets - Opening Entries (Values) - To be selected in conjunction with the quantitative option (described above). It is performed per fixed asset acquisition and branch (not per Warehouse) for the acquisition values; the closing/opening entries are also created.
  • Fixed Assets - Opening Entries (Quantities and Values) - This option results the inventory of acquisitions per quantity and values, as in the previous ERP versions. The analysis per Branch is mandatory, based on the branch each fixed asset was placed at, at the end of the fiscal year.

Consolidated Reporting

  • The view “Person - Consolidated accounting overview” (Business Intelligence/Corporate group - Financials) presents information that is similar to the ‘Trade Account accounting overview’ but it also includes functionality for grouping by person, providing thus information about all Trade Accounts that refer to same person (T.R.N.).
  • The views Outstanding Receivables and Outstanding Payables (Business Intelligence / Corporate group - Financials) now include the code and the name of the related Person.
  • The new view “Aging of Accounts per Person” (Financials/Accounts Receivable and Sales/Credit control) is now available. The view has two levels; at the first level an overview of the aging PER PERSON is presented. At the next level aging details per trade account are presented.

Various improvements

  • The financial matching functionality is now improved and if open and close items (of either liabilities or claims) exist in the same Document, these are matched by priority (e.g. when Withholdings are included in Cash Receipts)
  • The field “Approval No.” is now supported in the UDFs of the User Privilege Profile in Documents.
  • The default BOM in Documents (assemblies, productions) is now determined as follows: If a valid BOM exists for a Customer and this Customer has been selected in a Document (e.g. a Production Order), then this BOM is selected by default. If more than one valid BOMs exist for this particular Customer, none is proposed. If no valid BOMs exist for the particular customer, the system proposes as default the basic BOM of the line item (as in previous versions).

Company locale

From now on, it is mandatory to update the DB Company locale info; specifically, at the main address data of every Company in our DB, the Country field is now mandatory. The update and the identification of the Country (based on its ISO code) ensure that the application will continue to be effective and efficient even when companies located in different countries are monitored in the same DB.

The upgrade will update the Country field (if this is empty or if the ISO Code of the selected Country is empty). You are advised to check its contents after the upgrade.

Dashboard Designer

The following new feature is provided by the dashboard canvas designer: Bubble chart. The bubble chart is a very powerful analytic chart component that can be used to compare a series of items based on the relation of three different variables in two dimensions. The x-axis and the y-axis are used to represent the location of the item in the chart area. The z-axis is used to represent the size of the bubble. You can use the bubble chart as follows:

  • To compare a series of items using three numeric variables. In this case you should set the x-axis as a numeric axis. The series is specified in the relative stacked group field. You should fill in the item of series as @Series@ where ‘Series’ is the name of the column of the category item in the related data table. The third numeric variable is related to the bubble size. Using this property you can define the key figure that represents the bubble size. This property is enabled when you select the bubble chart type for the y-axis. For example, you can compare the sales performance by product category with

the x-axis representing the revenue, the y-axis representing the sales quantity and the z-axis representing the profit margin.

  • To compare a series of items using two numeric variables. In this case the x-axis is used as a category axis that represents a series of items. You can set also the stacked group field in order to create a bubble chart using two different dimensions.
